The company’s total domestic sales also slipped by 29% at 10,378 units in December 2019 as compared with 14,718 units in December 2018.
Its medium and heavy commercial vehicle sales in the domestic market dropped 40% to 6,369 units as compared to 10,621 units in December last year.
Further, its light commercial vehicle went down 2% at 4,009 units as against 4,097 units in the corresponding month last year.

Ashok Leyland Ltd is currently trading at Rs83.75, up by Rs2.75 or 3.4% from its previous closing of Rs81 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs81 and has touched a high and low of Rs84.10 and Rs80.80 respectively.
