Tata Power rises on launching Maval Dairy Farmer Services Producer Company


Tata Power is currently trading at Rs. 55.45, up by 0.45 points or 0.82% from its previous closing of Rs. 55.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 55.35 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 55.60 and Rs. 54.75 respectively. So far 110920 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 80.65 on 20-Dec-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 50.40 on 21-Aug-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 55.60 and Rs. 51.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 14984.45 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 36.21%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 48.05% and 15.67% respectively.

Tata Power Company has launched Maval Dairy Farmer Services Producer Company, Maharashtra’s 1st 'All Women Dairy Enterprise' at Maval in Pune. The project was brought to life through an extensive collaboration between the community women of the region and Tata Power. An in-depth study on the feasibility of developing the Dairy project resulted in the establishment of the Maval Dairy Farmer Services Producer Company that aims to empower women, economically and socially.
